Once we got off the Ferry, we spent the weekend in Blenheim and Nelson, where we checked out the vineyards, breweries and even a chocolate factory.
We must have gone to tastings at 5 or 6 different breweries, some were better than others. This one at Stoke had a local musician playing whilst we enjoyed IPAs and Ciders.
This vineyard at the suggestion of my friend Casey, served a super yummy lunch, and the wine was delish.
As we drove out of the vineyard, I saw these cute little lambs enjoying their own lunch among the vines.
Oh, and did I mention the CHOCOLATE FACTORY? YUM. I bought some caramels, and these nice ladies agreed to my photo as long as they didn’t have to smile.
Later in the weekend we headed up toward Abel Tasman National Park, and stopped in a little town whose name I can’t remember, just outside the park.
On our last day in Nelson, we were finally able to use our bikes, and took a ride along the water.
